Anonymous asked: I need to find 6 models, 2 female and 4 male who are Norwich/London based for a one night event I am doing at Norwich Castle Museum and Art Gallery on Saturday May 14th. How would I go about finding models who want test shots to build up their portfolio etc, is there a model equivalent of who is testing?
In general, if you are looking for models for who are building their books you can go to the main model agencies, we list many of them at http://blog.whoistesting.com/post/2842338689/model-agencies-jan-2011 - phoning them and asking “who is testing” is how we got our name!
In order for them to allow you to test you will need to have an existing portfolio so you will need to start elsewhere - find friends, friends of friends who look the part. You need to show that you can provide (or at least are likely to provide) images that will benefit their portfolios. Study the kind of pictures they have on their websites, especially the new faces sections.
Depends on the details, but for the event you will again be looking at either getting friends to help out or probably need to pay to work with agency models.
